Climate Resilience and Development Initiative (CRDI) is a Non Government Organization , founded in Tanzania with the aim of empowering local communities and supporting sustainable solutions towards climate resilience and environmental conservation to mitigate challenges such as deforestation, environmental pollution, food and nutrition, environmental disasters, loss of biodiversity and global warming.
These challenges will be solved through promoting the use of alternative sources of energy, advocacy and campaigns, education and training, games and sports (edutainment),community involvement, meetings and discussions, forums, volunteering, events, workshops, provision of grants, mentorship and outreach.

Climate Resilience and Development Initiative (CRDI) is registered in Tanzania under the Non-Governmental Act No. 24 of 2002 with registration No. 00NGO/R/5157
